Rachel Thomas is a fine art photographer who’s practice primarily focuses on creating black and white images through digital and darkroom processes. She most recently won a Spotlight Award in the 2025 Portfolio Contest where her photographs will be featured in a 4 page spread in Black & White Magazine. She has won 1st place awards and her work has been exhibited at Cape Fear Studio, CAM Raleigh, Oak Park Art League, and Scholastic Art. She is currently a BFA candidate at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago and is working towards her MFA to pursue her dream of becoming a photography instructor, share her her love for art, and help others on their journey as artists.
